March 24-25, the "9th Session of the Development and Innovation Forum on Informatization of City Commercial Banks” organized by the "Financial Computerizing " was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang. CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huada Electronic Design") was invited to attend this event, and shared with the industry the development of China’s chips in the field of financial IC card and its market breakthrough in the financial sector.

Huada Electronic Design, with its keen insight into the development of the industry, began researching and reserving safety technologies and introducing research results into product development as early as 2007. In 2013, Huada Electronic Design became the first enterprise to obtain the "China UnionPay Chip Card Product Safety Certificate". After that, its products passed the international EMVCo safety certification. The safety of the products has been highly recognized by the authoritative organization. By persistent efforts, in 2014 the company further launched dual-interface financial IC card chips to the market, and achieved commercial applications. So far, Huada Electronic Design has successfully provided IC card chips for more than 20 commercial banks, such as the Minsheng Bank, Bank of Ningbo, Shanxi Rural Credit Cooperative and Bank of Yangquan, and the total shipments of dual-interface chips have exceeded several million. Huada Electronic Design has taken a solid step towards the goal of achieving China “Chip” in the financial sector.

National Financial Security Strategy puts forward requirements on the independence and controllability of the chips. Huada Electronic Design believes that with the gradually enhanced technical strength and increased application experience of the domestic chip companies, and with the guidance of the People’s Bank of China and the help of various banks, through industrial collaborations, the goal of loading China "Chip" on financial IC card will be well insight. Huada Electronic Design will uphold the idea of serving the country through industrial development, and continue to contribute to the development of the financial sector.
