The high safety dual-interface financial IC card of CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. ("HED") has won the "Outstanding Bank Card Equipment Award" of the "Golden Tripod Awards". This award was announced in the 2014 China International Finance Exhibition held at Beijing Exhibition Center on August 28 - 31. This exhibition is the largest, most famous and influential annual financial grand gathering in Asia-Pacific Region.

HED has attended the exhibition event on the financial exhibition for consecutive four years. HED has brought various products and solutions, covering mobile payment, industrial integration, Internet finance and etc., in the field of finance to this financial exhibition. As the first company that has passed the UnionPay card chip product safety certification, HED’s dual-interface chips have been serialized, which features high safety and large capacity. Now the products are commercially used in the commercial banks. Mr. Chai Hongfeng, Executive Vice President of China UnionPay, has showed a great concern to the industrialization condition of HED’s domestic chips. He specially came to the HED’s booth to find out the product and application progress during the exhibition. Mr. Dong Haoran, general manager of the company received him personally and had good communications. Along with the progress of the project for people’s convenience and benefit, the financial application has been gradually expanded into the Internet application, mobile payment, cross-industry etc. Therefore, HED introduced several chip models supporting the IC card Internet terminal, mobile payment, financial & social security, financial health, network ID authentication, network eID etc. to meet the development requirements for applications. Where, the newly introduced main control chip supporting IC card Internet terminal supports various algorithms and features rich interfaces. It has a great significance to promote the industrialization and large-scale application of IC card Internet terminal so as to provide the large number of card users with more convenient Internet services. In the field of mobile payment, HED has introduced the first sample card that meets the specification set by People’s Bank of China, and has it undergo a system authentication at the pilot. HED hopes to help the implementation of the new application through practical actions. HED will continually make great efforts to promote the localization of chips in the financial field with the achievement of overall distribution of the products in all financial application blocks.
