On July 23 - 24, 2014, Beijing CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (HED) attended the Chinese Health Information Technology Intercommunication Conference held in Kunming, Yunnan Province along with China Electronics Corporation (ECE). During the conference, HED showed the wafers and modules, as well as a series of products and solutions such as non-contact CPU card, dual-interface IC card and Comicard, which attracted a wide attention of the participants from the health industry.

2014 Chinese Health Information Technology Intercommunication Conference is an annual industrial grand gathering of the health industry. More than 3,000 representatives from the provincial (regional, municipal) health administration department or information center, and various medical and health institutions attended the conference. Four subsidiaries, HED, Shanghai Huahong, HuaDa ZhiBao and GreatWall Meditech, under the CEC Group attended the exhibition and showed a whole set of application solution for the residents’ health card chip, card issuance, key management and acceptance terminal on the site. Ms. Bai Lifang, the deputy director of Planning Science and Technology Department of CEC Group, showed up on the booth to provide advice herself. During the event, HED introduced chip products to the audience in a simple-to-understand and easy-to-see way. The audience can watch the actual exhibits such as wafers and modules directly, and see the hardware structure of the chip and antenna inside the residents’ health card through the transparent sample card. Mr. Meng Qun, the director, and Mr. Hu Jianping, the deputy director, of the Statistic Information Center of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the PRC, who came to the CEC booth for providing work guidance, showed great interest in the transparent card and would not put it down. And Ms. Liu Jingmei, the CEC Marketing director, gave the transparent card to Mr. Meng as a gift for souvenir.
